Uganda Law Society & Another v The Attorney General (Constitutional Petitions No.2 & 8 of 2002) [2009] UGCC 1

On 25th March 2002, two soldiers of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces, were indicted, tried and executed on the same day for the murder of three civilians in Kotido District in North Eastern Uganda. The petitioners filed these two petitions seeking declarations that the entire process was unconstitutional. The court found as petitioned.
