Webinar: COVID-19 restrictions and the impact on criminal justice and human rights - Zambia [12 October 2022]
ACJR, Ubuntu Justice Initiative and the ZLDC hereby cordially invites you to a webinar to discuss the findings emanating from the stakeholder engagement in Zambia and to deliberate on recommendations for handling similar future public health crisis.
In December 2021, Africa Criminal Justice Reform (ACJR), Ubuntu Justice Initiative and the Zambian Law Development Commission (ZLDC) hosted a stakeholder engagement workshop in Lusaka, Zambia on the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the criminal justice system.
The workshop report on Zambia was launched in July 2022 as part of a compendium report titled “COVID-19 restrictions and the impact on criminal justice and human rights - findings from five African countries”.
