In December 2021, Africa Criminal Justice Reform (ACJR), Ubuntu Justice Initiative and the Zambian Law Development Commission (ZLDC) hosted a stakeholder engagement workshop in Lusaka, Zambia on the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the criminal justice system.

The workshop report on Zambia was launched in July 2022 as part of a compendium report titled “COVID-19 restrictions and the impact on criminal justice and human rights - findings from five African countries”.
