Discussions on the effectiveness and impact of the measures adopted by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19 have taken place. However, the voices of people in disadvantaged communities most affected by the lockdown are hardly heard. In commemoration of women’s month, the next edition of the webinar explores the incidence of gender-based violence in informal settlements during the lockdown.
This webinar seeks to give opportunity to community leaders in informal settlements and other stakeholders to share their thoughts and experiences on the impact of the lockdown on gender-based violence in disadvantaged communities.
