ACSL releases Civic Protest Barometer 2018 Fact Sheet #2

According to this second fact sheet, metros and highly urbanised provinces most prone to civic protests. It analyses the geographical spread of civic protests.

While nationally the number of civic protests in 2017 reached the lowest level in three years (CPB 2018 Fact Sheet #1 (no. of protests), there has been a fair degree of fluctuation in the number of protests in each province. By and large, however, civic protests are concentrated in the large metro areas and most urbanised provinces.

The 2018 edition of the Civic Protest Barometer  (CPB) will be published in February 2018 with further detailed analysis of these and other findings.
