Mandela Day: Dullah Omar Institute visits a crèche in Wallacedene
The Dullah Omar Institute visited Someleze Education Centre, a crèche in Wallacedene, as part of the Institute’s Mandela Day initiatives.
During the visit the Institute’s staff served soup and bread at the creche to the children around the Wallacedene Community. The idea was to go around to the crèche and try to give it a face lift. The staff handed over donation which was in form tables,books and educational material like posters, toys, crayons, pencils etc.
The institute has been visiting the crèche for the past three years during Mandela Day. The institute would like to thank its vendors and those who contributed to the gifts it handed over on the day.
