Prof Tinashe Chigwata appointed as Project Head of Multilevel Government

The Institute's work on multilevel government is based on the importance of provincial and local governments throughout Africa to realise development, deepen democracy and promote peace. Prof Chigwata brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the fields of Multilevel Government/Local Government and Good Governance. He has been with the Institute for over a decade as a student, junior researcher, and senior researcher. During this period, Prof Chigwata successfully spearheaded several projects which contributed to the Institute's core mandate of teaching, research and advocacy on governance and human rights. We wish him well in this new role.
