Ass. Prof Ebenezer Durojaye

Project head

Prof Ebenezer Durojaye He is the project head and senior researcher at the Socio-Economic Rights Project at the Dullah Omar Institute, University of the Western Cape, Cape. He holds an LLB degree from University of Lagos, and a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) and Doctorate in Law (LLD) from University of the Free State. His areas of interest include focusing on socioeconomic rights including access to HIV/AIDS treatment,  intersection between gender inequality and HIV/AIDS response in  Africa, women’s health and adolescents sexual and reproductive rights in  Africa. He is one of the Independent Experts of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights for the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and those at Risk, Vulnerable to and Affected by HIV. He is currently co-editing two books- Strengthening Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Africa and Constitution Building in Africa.
