Melissa N.S Ziswa is a Doctoral researcher under the SARChI Multilevel Government, Law and Policy unit. Her research is on the dynamics of the transfer of constitutional concepts in the field of decentralisation with a focus on South Africa as the case study. She holds an LL.B and LL.M (Cum Laude) from the University of the Western Cape. Prior joining the Dullah Omar Institute, she was a graduate lecturing assistant and she interned both at the City of Cape Town and Chigadza & Associates (Zimbabwe).
