The Dullah Omar Memorial Lecture Series honours the legacy of a remarkable lawyer, advocate and leader who dedicated his life to justice, human rights and democracy. Through his legal practice, leadership in the struggle against apartheid, and later as Director of the Community Law Centre and Minister of Justice, Dullah Omar made a lasting contribution to shaping South Africa’s democratic legal order.
The lecture series celebrates his enduring commitment to building a just and democratic society.
